Remember last year when I told you how I manifested being in a commercial with my family? Well, here it is. We were cast in a commercial with Stouffer’s, and I learned a lot about myself and my family, and I’m really excited to share it with you!
Having this experience definitely opened my eyes to a few things and also solidified a few more.
1. The Stretch Marks and Labor Pains Were Worth It
Yea I just said that. All of these zebra stripes I gained from pregnancy and the piercing pain I endured during three natural births just might be worth it because apparently I, make some pretty cute kids. When I saw how adorable they looked on the commercial it, was then that I realized that I just may get a good return on my (3) investments.
2. People Won’t Always Celebrate You And That’s OK!
I’ve been waiting for 4 months for this commercial to come out to share it with the people I love most and my peers and I was slightly disappointed to find that many of those people didn’t seem too interested or barely even acknowledged it. I wasn’t looking for a parade but I am super supportive of my friends and family and even my peers so I was slightly annoyed to learn that many of the people I support aren’t as supportive but hey I’m still shining. I’ve learned that the more you accomplish the less people who know you celebrate you and I base that all on my theory that “Sometime’s your light shines so bright it blinds other people and they can’t take it so they distance themselves “.
3. I Love My Husband
I cannot tell you how many times we shot the kissing scene together and I also cannot tell you how much I enjoyed it. There was a moment when the crew was setting up that my husband was “Coaching” me on how to pass him the plate, I could’ve been totally annoyed but I thought it was the cutest thing ever. It’s obvious that I love that dude so I guess this goes under one of the things that are solidified. We are bonded by commercial, not the kids, the marriage license or even this house, yep it took a commercial for me to take this thing seriously.
4. Anything is Absolutely Possible
Well duh, I always say that but this right here is physical proof that if you want something bad enough and you are bold enough to ask and believe for it then you better be ready for it to happen (Even in 6 weeks).
5. This is Just the Beginning
This experience has encouraged the hell out of me and now I’m ready to act a fool. I want to do every single thing on my vision board and I encourage you to be bold enough to go after even the craziest of your dreams and goals.
See you at the top!
