Mommy’s Dressing Room

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before subscribing to or accessing any membership, content, or community offered by Mommy’s Dressing Room (referred to throughout as “we,” “us,” or “the Company”). By completing your subscription purchase or accessing any member content, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not subscribe or access member content.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Member” or “Subscriber”) and My Quantum Leap LLC, a registered Illinois single-member LLC operating as Mommy’s Dressing Room. Your subscription constitutes your full acceptance of these Terms.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email to the address associated with your subscription at least 30 business days before the changes take effect. Material changes include changes to pricing (subject to the 14 business day notice provision in Section 7c), refund policy, limitation of liability provisions, or any clause that materially affects your rights. Continued use of the membership following the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to maintain a current email address and review these Terms periodically.
2. Eligibility
By subscribing you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
- You are a human individual and not a bot, automated system, or competitor subscribing for the purpose of commercial intelligence gathering.
- You are subscribing for personal, non-commercial use only unless you have received prior written authorization from us.
- You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and be bound by its terms.
- All information you provide during registration is accurate, current, and complete.
Age Restriction and Children’s Privacy. Our service is intended exclusively for parents, guardians, and adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we discover we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it immediately and terminate the account.
Right to Refuse Membership. We reserve the absolute right to refuse, decline, suspend, or revoke membership at our sole discretion, for any reason or for no reason, with or without notice. This includes but is not limited to suspected violations of these eligibility requirements, suspected fraud, behavior we deem disruptive or harmful, or any other reason we determine in our sole discretion. Such refusal or revocation does not require justification and is not subject to appeal, except as required by federal anti-discrimination laws.
3. Membership Access and Account Security
3a. One Account Per Subscriber
Each subscription is issued to a single individual and is strictly non-transferable. Your login credentials are for your personal use only. Sharing your username, password, or any access credentials with any other person — whether paid or free — is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination of your membership without refund.
3b. Account Monitoring
We reserve the right to monitor account activity including login frequency, locations, and access patterns. Accounts showing activity consistent with shared access — including simultaneous logins from multiple devices or geographic locations — may be suspended or terminated without notice or refund.
3c. Account Security Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@mommysdressingroom.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.
3d. Device Limitations
Your subscription is intended for use on your personal devices only. We reserve the right to implement technical restrictions on simultaneous access or device limits at any time without prior notice.
4. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
4a. Ownership
All content published within the membership — including but not limited to program listings, descriptions, curated resources, editorial commentary, graphics, text, and any other materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of Mommy’s Dressing Room and its operating entity My Quantum Leap LLC, and is protected by United States copyright law, Illinois state law, and applicable international intellectual property laws.
4b. Limited Personal License
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view membership content solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include any right to:
- Copy, reproduce, download, screenshot, screen-record, or save any membership content in any form.
- Share, distribute, forward, or transmit any membership content to any non-subscribing individual by any means including but not limited to text message, email, social media, messaging applications, or verbal relay of written content.
- Publish, post, or repost any membership content on any website, blog, social media account, newsletter, or other public or private platform.
- Rephrase, summarize, reword, or adapt any membership content for redistribution in any form.
- Use any membership content to create a competing or derivative product or service.
- Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any membership content in any manner.
4c. No Implied Rights
No rights are granted to you beyond the limited personal license described above. Any use of membership content beyond this scope without express written permission from Mommy’s Dressing Room constitutes copyright infringement and may subject you to civil and criminal liability.
4d. DMCA Policy
We take intellectual property violations seriously. If we discover that membership content has been reproduced, redistributed, or plagiarized without authorization, we will pursue all available legal remedies including issuing DMCA takedown notices, pursuing civil damages, and reporting violations to relevant platforms and authorities.
4e. DMCA Designated Agent and Takedown Procedures
Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), we have designated an agent to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement. If you believe that material on our service infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our Designated Agent containing the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information sufficient to locate it.
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Our Designated Agent is registered or in the process of being registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Counter-notifications, if applicable, may be sent to the same contact information.
5. Prohibited Conduct
In addition to the content restrictions above, you agree that you will not:
- Subscribe under a false identity or using another person’s payment information.
- Subscribe for the purpose of market research, competitive analysis, or building a competing product or service.
- Use any automated tool, scraper, bot, or software to access, collect, or extract any membership content.
- Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable any technical access controls or security measures.
- Harvest, collect, or store personal information about other community members.
- Post spam, promotional content, or unsolicited advertising in any community space associated with the membership.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or engage in abusive conduct toward us, our team, or other community members.
- Use the private community space to solicit other members for competing services or products.
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content about us, our content, or programs we feature.
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the functionality of our website or membership platform.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate termination without refund and may subject you to legal action.
6. Community Standards
Access to any private community spaces — including but not limited to private Facebook groups, forums, or messaging channels — is a privilege included with your subscription and is subject to additional community guidelines posted within those spaces. We reserve the right to remove any member from community spaces at our sole discretion for conduct we determine to be disruptive, harmful, or inconsistent with community standards, without affecting subscription status or triggering a refund obligation.
Community membership is verified against active subscriptions. Members who cancel or whose subscriptions lapse will be removed from all associated community spaces within 2 business days of cancellation.
7. Payment Terms
7a. Subscription Fees
Membership fees are clearly disclosed at the point of purchase. By completing your purchase you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fee on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle you selected (monthly or annual). All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax, if any, will be calculated and added at checkout based on your state of residence and applicable tax laws.
7b. Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate unless you cancel prior to the renewal date. We are not responsible for charges incurred due to your failure to cancel before renewal.
7c. Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 14 business days advance notice of any price increase via email. Continued subscription following a price change constitutes acceptance of the new rate.
7d. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment according to our payment processor’s standard retry schedule. Access to membership content may be suspended during periods of payment failure and permanently terminated if payment is not successfully collected within 7 business days of the initial failure.
7e. Auto-Renewal Disclosure
BY SUBSCRIBING, YOU ARE ENROLLING IN A RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION THAT WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee (monthly or annual, as you selected) at the start of each billing period until you cancel. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
How to Cancel: You may cancel at any time by emailing hello@mommysdressingroom.com with your cancellation request. Cancellation requests are processed within 1 business day of receipt and take effect at the end of your current billing period.
State-Specific Notices: If you reside in California, Illinois, New York, Oregon, or any other state with applicable auto-renewal laws, you have additional rights regarding cancellation and disclosure that we honor. Specific state notices are provided at point of purchase where required by law. We comply with the FTC “Click-to-Cancel” rule by ensuring cancellation is at least as easy as enrollment.
7f. Founding Member Pricing
Members who subscribe during the announced founding member promotional period and who are among the first 50 paying subscribers will receive locked-in promotional pricing for the duration of their continuous active subscription. For purposes of this Section, “continuous active subscription” means an uninterrupted active subscription with no payment lapse exceeding 7 business days. Founding member pricing is:
- Limited to the first 50 paying subscribers, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Non-transferable to any other person or account.
- Forfeited upon cancellation or any payment failure exceeding 7 business days.
- Subject to the same Terms as standard subscriptions, except for the locked-in price.
Following any cancellation or lapse exceeding 7 business days, founding member status is permanently forfeited, and any future subscription will be charged at then-current standard rates. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional pricing programs at our discretion, but pricing locked in for active founding members will be honored for the duration of their continuous active subscription.
8. Refund and Cancellation Policy
8a. No Refunds
ALL SUBSCRIPTION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. By completing your purchase you acknowledge that you have read this policy and agree that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances including but not limited to:
- You did not use your membership during the billing period.
- You were unsatisfied with the content or frequency of program drops.
- You forgot to cancel before your renewal date.
- A program listed in the membership was full, discontinued, or changed by the program provider.
- You experienced technical difficulties accessing content.
- Personal circumstances prevented you from utilizing the membership.
Limited Exception: If we exercise our right under Section 11d to refuse membership AFTER an inadvertent charge has been processed, we will refund that specific charge. This narrow exception applies only to charges collected from applicants whose membership we refuse, and does not waive this no-refund policy in any other circumstance. Nothing in this Section 8a limits any non-disclaimable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
8b. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing your cancellation request to hello@mommysdressingroom.com from the email address associated with your subscription. We commit to processing cancellation requests within 1 business day of receipt.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to membership content through the end of your paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
8c. Chargeback Policy
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us at hello@mommysdressingroom.com is a violation of these Terms. Chargebacks initiated for charges where you actually received the membership service constitute fraudulent chargebacks. In the event of a fraudulent chargeback we reserve the right to:
- Permanently terminate your membership without notice.
- Decline future memberships from the same individual.
- Submit documentation of your subscription acceptance, usage history, and these Terms to your financial institution to contest the chargeback.
- Pursue recovery of disputed funds plus any chargeback fees through reasonable legal means.
We maintain detailed records of all subscription acceptances, login activity, and content access for this purpose. Nothing in this section limits your legal rights under federal consumer protection law including the Fair Credit Billing Act (15 U.S.C. § 1666) for legitimate billing disputes.
9. Content Accuracy and Disclaimers
9a. Curator Role
We are a curator of information, not a guarantor of program availability, quality, outcomes, or accuracy. All program listings are provided as informational resources based on our personal research and experience. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding any program, organization, or opportunity listed in the membership.
9b. Verification Responsibility
All program details — including dates, costs, availability, age requirements, and registration deadlines — are subject to change by the program provider at any time without notice to us, regardless of when the listing was published. You agree to verify all program details independently with the provider before enrolling your child or making any financial commitment, regardless of when we shared the listing. The date a listing was published or last verified is informational only and creates no warranty regarding accuracy at any later time.
9c. No Endorsement
Inclusion of a program in our membership does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or recommendation. We share programs that we personally find interesting or that we have considered or used for our own children. Our experience with a program may differ from yours. We are not responsible for any experience — positive or negative — that you or your child has with any listed program.
9d. No Professional Advice
Nothing in this membership constitutes legal, financial, educational, medical, or professional advice of any kind. All content is provided for informational purposes only. Always consult qualified professionals regarding decisions affecting your child’s education, health, or welfare.
9e. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mommy’s Dressing Room and its operating entity My Quantum Leap LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on any membership content, including but not limited to damages resulting from a program being full, canceled, changed, or not meeting your expectations. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your membership shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
9f. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE MEMBERSHIP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE MEMBERSHIP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Content Availability
10a. Rolling Drop Model
Membership content operates on a rolling availability model. Program listings and other content are available for a limited window following publication and are not permanently archived. We make no guarantee regarding the volume, frequency, or type of content published in any given period.
10b. Service Interruptions
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the membership at any time including content types, community access, and publication frequency. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes but are not obligated to do so. No refunds will be issued due to temporary service interruptions or modifications to membership features.
10c. Geographic Scope
Our membership focuses primarily on programs and opportunities in Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area. We may occasionally include programs in surrounding regions, virtual opportunities, or national programs at our discretion. We do not guarantee coverage of any specific geographic area or program category.
11. Termination and Refusal
11a. Termination by Us
We reserve the right to terminate your membership immediately and without refund for any violation of these Terms including but not limited to content theft, sharing credentials, initiating fraudulent chargebacks, prohibited conduct, or any behavior we determine to be harmful to our business, community, or other members. Termination decisions are made at our sole discretion and are final.
11b. Effect of Termination
Upon termination of your membership for any reason:
- Your access to all membership content will be immediately revoked.
- Your access to all associated community spaces will be immediately revoked.
- No refund will be issued for any unused portion of your subscription period.
- Any licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately terminate.
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in full force.
Note: The limited refund described in Section 11d applies only to applicants whose membership we refuse to accept after an inadvertent payment is collected, not to existing members whose memberships are terminated.
11c. Banned Members
Members who are terminated for violations of these Terms may be permanently banned from subscribing in the future. Attempting to circumvent a ban by subscribing under a new identity is a violation of these Terms and may constitute fraud.
11d. Right to Refuse Membership
We reserve the absolute right to refuse, deny, or decline membership to any individual at any time, for any reason or for no reason, at our sole and unrestricted discretion. This right exists independently of any other provision of these Terms and does not require justification, prior notice, or explanation, except as required by federal anti-discrimination laws. Reasons we may refuse membership include but are not limited to: concerns about a prospective member’s identity or eligibility, suspected fraud, previous violations of these Terms by the individual or anyone associated with them, behavior we determine to be inconsistent with our community standards, or any other consideration we deem relevant. Refusal of membership is final and not subject to appeal. If payment is collected from a refused applicant, we will refund that specific payment in full per Section 8a’s limited exception.
12. Privacy
We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at mommysdressingroom.com/privacy-policy. By subscribing you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13a. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, the state in which My Quantum Leap LLC (operating as Mommy’s Dressing Room) is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
13b. Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at hello@mommysdressingroom.com and make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 14 business days. This informal resolution requirement does not apply in cases of intellectual property infringement or unauthorized use of membership content.
13c. Class Action Waiver
YOU AND THE COMPANY EACH AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS, WHETHER IN COURT OR ARBITRATION, WILL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT, CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION OF ANY KIND AGAINST MOMMY’S DRESSING ROOM OR MY QUANTUM LEAP LLC. CLAIMS FROM MULTIPLE MEMBERS MAY NOT BE CONSOLIDATED OR JOINED. THIS CLASS ACTION WAIVER IS A MATERIAL AND ESSENTIAL BARGAINED-FOR PROVISION OF THESE TERMS.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mommy’s Dressing Room, its operating entity My Quantum Leap LLC, and their respective members, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of or reliance on membership content; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.
15. General Provisions
15a. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mommy’s Dressing Room with respect to your membership and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
15b. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the parties intend that the court shall reform that provision to the minimum extent necessary to render it enforceable, or if reformation is not possible, that provision shall be severed and the remainder of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect. The parties specifically acknowledge that the Limitation of Liability (Section 9e), Disclaimer of Warranties (Section 9f), and Class Action Waiver (Section 13c) provisions are essential bargained-for terms, and if any of these is found unenforceable, the parties intend that they be reformed to be enforceable to the maximum extent possible.
15c. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
15d. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your membership or any rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time without notice to you.
15e. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to platform outages, internet disruptions, natural disasters, pandemics, government action, or changes in applicable law. Service interruptions caused by force majeure events do not entitle members to refunds under Section 8a, except as required by non-disclaimable consumer protection law in the member’s jurisdiction. We will make reasonable efforts to restore service as soon as possible following any force majeure event.
16. Communications and Email Consent
16a. Consent to Communications
By subscribing, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including transactional emails (such as receipts, account notifications, and renewal reminders) and marketing communications (such as program drops, newsletters, and special offers). You acknowledge that all communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
16b. Marketing Email Opt-Out
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by emailing us at hello@mommysdressingroom.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional emails necessary for your subscription, which you will continue to receive as long as your account is active.
16c. CAN-SPAM Compliance
We comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act. All marketing emails will contain a clear opt-out mechanism, accurate sender information, and our physical mailing address. We will honor opt-out requests within 10 business days as required by law.
16d. SMS and Other Communications
We do not currently send SMS or text message marketing. Should we begin SMS communications in the future, we will obtain separate explicit consent in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) before doing so.
17. Accessibility
We are committed to maintaining a website and membership service that is accessible to people with disabilities, in alignment with the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If you encounter accessibility barriers while using our service, please contact us at hello@mommysdressingroom.com so we can work to address the issue and accommodate your needs.
18. Member Content & Confidentiality
18. Membership Content Defined. “Membership Content” includes, but is not limited to: the Chicagoland youth programs directory, program listings, program details, scholarship opportunities, deadline alerts, member community discussions, downloadable resources, guides, lists, schedules, and all other content made available exclusively to paid members of Mommy’s Dressing Room.
18a. Personal, Non-Commercial Use Only. Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access Membership Content solely for your own personal and family use. Membership Content is provided on a confidential basis between Mommy’s Dressing Room and you, the member.
18b. Prohibited Activities. You agree that you will NOT:
(a) Share, post, publish, distribute, or display any Membership Content on social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads, Snapchat, or any future platforms);
(b) Share Membership Content in private or public groups, forums, group chats, text messages, email chains, Discord servers, WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, or any other group communication;
(c) Take, share, or post screenshots, screen recordings, photographs, or video recordings of any Membership Content;
(d) Show, display, read aloud, or describe Membership Content to non-members, including friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, or any other third party;
(e) Copy, reproduce, transcribe, summarize, or recreate the program directory, program listings, or any compilation of program information for use outside your personal household;
(f) Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit Membership Content in any form;
(g) Use Membership Content to start, support, or promote a competing product, service, blog, newsletter, directory, or membership offering;
(h) Use any automated tool (including AI tools, scrapers, or bots) to extract, copy, or reproduce Membership Content.
18c. Why These Rules Exist. Mommy’s Dressing Room invests significant time and resources to research, verify, and curate Chicagoland youth programs. Our value to members depends on members keeping this content within the membership. When non-members can access content without paying, paying members lose value and the service cannot continue. These rules protect every paying member equally.
18d. Sharing With Family. You may share Membership Content with members of your immediate household for personal, family use only. This does not include extended family, friends, or anyone outside your home.
18e. Recommending Mommy’s Dressing Room. You ARE welcome and encouraged to:
- Tell others that Mommy’s Dressing Room exists and what it offers
- Share the public website (mommysdressingroom.com) and signup page
- Recommend that others subscribe
- Share publicly available blog posts (non-member content)
The distinction is simple: share that the service exists, not the content inside it.
18f. Consequences of Violation. Violation of this section is a material breach of these Terms. Mommy’s Dressing Room reserves the right to:
(a) Immediately terminate your membership without refund; (b) Permanently ban you from re-subscribing; (c) Pursue legal remedies including injunctive relief and monetary damages; (d) Recover liquidated damages of $500 per instance of unauthorized sharing or distribution, which the parties agree is a reasonable estimate of the harm caused, plus reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in enforcing this section; (e) Issue DMCA takedown notices to platforms hosting unauthorized copies; (f) Pursue any other remedy available at law or in equity.
18g. Reporting Violations. If you become aware of unauthorized sharing or distribution of Membership Content, please report it to legal@mommysdressingroom.com. We may offer a credit or other recognition to members who report verifiable violations.
18h. Survival. This section survives termination of your membership. Confidentiality obligations and prohibitions on use of Membership Content continue indefinitely after your membership ends.
