3 Reasons to Take Your Daughter to Disney On Ice Follow Your Heart

Last Thursday we surprised the kids with a trip to see Disney on Ice Follow Your Heart at Eaglebank Arena.  All were equally excited,  but this particular event was extra special for Vayda, she’s been asking to see Disney on Ice since last year when we missed out so there was no way I’d be missing it this year.  Even though this event was for the kids we as a family enjoyed it. The show included fireworks, faux snow, acrobatics and so much more. The best part was watching my daughters face light up with excitement, she even demanded that I take pictures for all her favorite parts,  and yes my cameroll is full of blurry photos. If you have a little girl who is the designated princess in your house here are a few reasons to take your daughter to see Disney on Ice Follow Your Heart.

  1. The Soundtrack

The show features all of your favorite Disney tracks including Be Our Guest, You’ve Got A Friend In Me, Let It Go and so much more. Little girls and boys (and Moms and Dads) all over the arena sang along. Please feel free to sing along as much as you want because the arena is dark and no one can attribute the horrible singing to you-that’s what I did.

  1. The Inspirational Storyline

The story starts off with Riley from Inside Out having a rough time and showing feelings of insecurity and doubt and by the end of the show she gains her confidence and overcomes her obstacles. Throughout the show many of the Disney Princesses and other Disney characters such as Dory show how they overcame obstacles and triumphed on and Vayda was really  captivated by the stories and asking questions so I know she enjoyed it. The storyline is very encouraging and relatable and provides great encouragement for your little princess.

  1. Princesses Everywhere

I was really surprised to see so many of the Disney Princesses in the show, there was Tiana, Mulan, Rapunzel, Merida, Belle, Ariel and a few more. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed that Moana wasn’t in the show as she is my favorite princess (and she has the best songs) but hopefully she’ll be added to the next lineup.

If you have a little princess in your house or even a niece or little cousin please don’t wait to take them to the show. You will be more than pleased.

Disclosure: I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events. Even though I receive these benefits, I was going to this show anyway because Vayda wouldn’t let me live it down if I passed up this opportunity.
