Here’s Why King’s Dominion is taking over 2017 #KD2017
We’ve been spending a lot of time at King’s Dominion this summer because you really can’t beat a water park and a theme park combined! In addition to that, the staff a King’s Dominion is hilarious if you don’t believe me just play a few games of ring toss near Soak City you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
A few weeks ago we were invited to a special super secret announcement at King’s Dominion, so we packed up for a mini road trip and headed back to Doswell, Virginia. I love surprises, and my kids do too so we were all excited to find out what King’s Dominion was keeping so super secret. We piled into the auditorium but not before we took some totally cute photos with Lucy, Linus, and my favorite Charlie.
What was announced is a total game changer for 2017 and here’s why.
The Pre- K pass
King’s Dominion announced that in 2017 kids ages 3-5 years old will be granted complimentary admission to King’s Dominion & Soak City! That saves us a ton of money because I’m right in the sweet with my 2,3 and 4 year old.
How to Register
To register for the KD Pre-K Pass visit King’s Dominion online select season passes and then select Pre-K pass. Follow the directions and click submit.
Print the e-ticket and bring it to the front gate pass processing center along with a valid form of identification that proves the child’s date of birth ex. Certified birth certificate or passport.
Planet Snoopy Will Feature 3 New Family Rides
I love to enjoy family amusement parks with my kids and it’s even better when we can get on some rides together, so I am thrilled that King’s Dominion is adding 3 new family rides to the Planet Snoopy. I look forward to Kite Eating Tree, Sally’s Sea Plane, and Peanuts™500 with my little ones, and I’ll tell you right now I wanna be the first in line for Kite Eating Tree!
Bonus
Also because King’s Dominion is so cool the Pre-K Pass includes admission to Dinosaur’s Alive aaannnnd if you register right now for the 2017 Pre-K Pass you’ll get a free visit to the Great Pumpkin Festival for 2016, and who doesn’t love Fall Festivals? Remember I said the Flyy Girl Minimum is 3 festivals a year.

I’m sure from this you’ve already gathered that we’ll be spending quite a bit of time at KD next year, and we’ll be at the Great Pumpkin Fest this Fall, and hopefully, we’ll see you there!

We went last month and enjoyed it. I took two 13 year olds and a six year old. My six year old and I had a blast at Soak City and in Planet Snoopy.
This sounds like a fun place for kiddos! And it’s always nice to score a deal where you can have a little fun!
That free kid pass is everything. At that age they get over things quickly. Hear you’ve spent a ton of money on your toddler and they don’t want to ride anymore. Now that’s a non-issue.
I’ve not been to KD in 15 years. I used to go all the time.
Free Passes are awesome. It’s awesome that so many families will now access to the park. You and your family are adorable.
This sounds like so much fun! I know the kiddies enjoyed it! I would love to attend the Great Pumpkin Festival!
