The time has officially come and Zaniel is ready to be potty trained. It seems like just yesterday he was a wittle baby!
I’ve been wiping butts and taking names for a long time now and I’m rets for it to be over, but more importantly, Zan the Man is showing signs that he’s ready to use the potty.
2 kids ago I had no idea what I was doing when it came to potty training and no one could really tell me how to do it. The potty trials of Zion and Vayda have taught me a few things and this time around I wanted to make the start of Zaniel’s potty training days extra special.
This time around I was prepared to make this potty training thing as easy as possible for both me and Zaniel with the help of Pull-Ups®, so I wanted to make his first potty training day a special one.
Zaniel’s special potty story starts on a dreary day in rural Virginia. I took him on a special trip (just us 2) to Dollar General to pick up some Pull-ups. During our special trip to Dollar General he picked up a special toy. We also saved $2.00 on our Pull-Ups® by signing up for DG Digital Coupons. After we saved our 2 bucks we both were excited to head home and get this “potty” started!
We printed a really cool potty chart and I bribed him with Jelly Beans, I’m genuinely not ashamed of that. We both “agreed” that pee deserves 1 jelly bean and poop gets 2 jelly beans! TMI but jelly bean bribing works! We practiced going to the potty and having good hygiene and of course he modeled his Pull-Ups®.
Our first day of Potty Training with Pull-Ups® was exciting and if you ask Zan it was indeed a success (he earned 2 Jelly Beans!)
Many thanks to Pull-Ups® Training Pants and Dollar General for sponsoring today’s story and encouraging me to share my potty training story!
